ACEO® to launch Chinese Website and Webshop

Since the launch in 2016, ACEO® ‘s 3D printing with silicones technology has gained popularity across many industries and markets. Asia-Pacific is the second biggest region in terms of cumulative industrial 3D systems installed. Within the region, China is the largest additive manufacturing country by far. ACEO® has been active in China since the commercialization of its technology in 2016. To value the growing importance of this market, ACEO® is rolling out a series of activities to make Chinese customers benefit even more.

The kick-off was for ACEO® to exhibit at the TCT ASIA in Shanghai in February 2019, where the team highlighted ACEO® ‘s capabilities and applications. “It is very important to be present in a market with such a great potential. Customers can now experience our technology first-hand”, says Dr. Bernd Pachaly, Head of Project 3D Printing WACKER SILICONES. “Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new Chinese website and webshop to make our services more accessible to customers in the region.”

The new Chinese website provides information, infographics and videos explaining ACEO® ‘s unique drop-on-demand printing process. Visitors will also find valuable information on silicone elastomers as well as news and contact information.

The webshop offers a convenient and secure way to upload CAD or .STL files. Following the success of the English webshop with a global customer base, the team wanted to ensure Chinese customers can manage their requests, quotes and orders in their own language. ACEO® ‘s Chinese online presence contributes to their success story to with yet another premiere: the world’s first 3D printing with silicone web shop for China.
