Collection and Processing of Personal Data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. For example, your full name, your email address, your postal address and your telephone number are usually personal data.
When you visit our website, our web server automatically records the name of your internet service provider (or IP address), the website from which you visit us, the webpages you actually visit within our website, the internet browser and the operating system that you use and the date and duration of your visit (such data hereinafter called „log files data“). Additional personal data is only stored if volunteered by you, in particular in case of the following:
- If you register on our website, we ask for your first and last name, your email address and a password. If you register for a business account, we further ask for the name and address of your company, your company’s register number, VAT and industry as well as a telephone number. At the moment, it is not yet possible to register with a private account on our website.
- If you place an order with us, we ask you to additionally provide us with the information necessary to execute your order, in particular with CAD-files.
- You may also contact us for questions or remarks that you have, in which case we collect and process the information you provide to us.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Data/Purpose of Use
The log files data are temporarily saved in log files for security reasons, in particular to ward off attacks on our web server, as well as for the creation of statistics about the usage of our website on anonymous basis. We do not connect data from the log files with data from other sources. However, if we have good reasons to believe that our website has been misused, we reserve the right to check the log files subsequently.
Your registration data we use to provide you with an account on our website, which makes it easier for you to administer your orders with us. Your registration data and your order data we use to execute the relevant order. If you contact us for questions or remarks, we use the data provided by you to handle your request. To the extent we are permitted to do so, we may also use your email address to send newsletters to you without your separate consent. You may opt out of this at any time. Further information with regard to such opt out will be provided in the newsletters.
We will not provide third parties with any personal data that we may have collected from you unless we are entitled to do so without your separate consent by law – which may in particular be the case when it is necessary for execution of your orders –, or you gave us separate consent.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”).
Further information concerning the terms and conditions of the use and privacy of Google Analytics can be found at www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html.
In order to make your visit of our website more convenient, our website uses session cookies exclusively to maintain your language selection and to save you from having to re-enter information each time as you navigate through the various webpages. „Cookies“ are text files saved on your computer. These cookies are discarded when you leave our website.
If you do not wish your computer to be recognized, please select browser settings that delete cookies from your hard drive or that block all cookies or prompt you before a cookie is stored. We may point out however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
We use so-called social plug-ins on this website, namely Facebook, Google+- LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter plug-ins. Such plug-ins enable you to share information provided on our website with others via your social media accounts.
We integrated the social plug-ins on our website as simple HTML links to the social media websites in accordance with the so-called „advanced double click solution“ („Shariff solution“) which means the plug-ins are deactivated by default. This ensures that initially only the server address of our website is transferred to the social media provider instead of user data. The social plug-in will only be activated when you click on it. In this case the information you would like to share will be transferred to the social media provider. It may also be that a pop up window of the social media provider opens and, in case you are logged onto your social media account in that moment, you will have to confirm again that you would like to share the information before it is actually transferred.
Information about what kind of data is collected, processed and used by the social media providers and for which purposes, possible settings with regard to your social media account and your rights you may find on the websites of the social media providers. We recommend that you make yourself familiar with the privacy policies of the social media providers which you may find on the following websites:
